Wednesday Summer Walks ...
Throughout the summer months, April - September, we run local walks on Wednesday evenings. These usually start and finish at a pub for a pint afterwards. The walks range from 4 – 7 miles and are led by Tom Ainsworth and other club members.
The start time for all walks is 7:15pm.
Please note that these walks will be over rough terrain and the onus is on the individual to take care when on these walks. Burnley Mountaineering and Fellwalking Club cannot be held responsible for any injuries sustained. Please close all gates and observe the country code.
Dogs on leads are welcome on these walks, if accompanied by a well behaved and responsible owner.
Booking Information ...
No booking is necessary, just turn up and walk.
A charge of £5 per year is made to non-Members of the club to become “Wednesday Night Members”. This is to cover insurance costs and covers all Wednesday Walks in that calendar year and there are no further charges.
